Therapy
We all have stress in our lives. To relieve stress you may want to consider
a massage. Massage is not just a luxury it also helps to lower blood
pressure, increase circulation, helps you sleep better and can increase
concentration. It can also give you more energy to handle stressful
situations.
"Our special therapeutic massage utilizes a combination of different
techniques, that correct and reduce pain in common musculoskeletal
disorders, such as whiplash, carpal tunnel, sciatica, plantar fascitis and
all other muscular related ailments," stated Tamra Campanella, Director of
Hunterdon Health and Wellness Center. Campanella added, " By using Swedish
and Neuromuscular massage, Shiatsu, Myofascial release, Trigger Point and
Reflexology, our massage therapist's will restore balance and relieve pain
throughout the entire body with these special modalities, created
individually for our you."
In February, The Hunterdon Health and Wellness Center will offer the Health
and Wellness Body Melt. According to Silvia Walter, Massage Therapist at
the Hunterdon Health and Wellness Center, "The Body Melt includes a gentle
dry brushing followed by a warm grape seed oil application to prepare you
for a massage with essential oils of rose and jasmine to nourish your skin
and muscles. The soothing heat of Mexican river rocks during this treatment
helps to detoxify and melt your tensions away."
The Special Body Melt massage is 90 minutes and costs $110 per session.
Regular massages are $40 for members and $45 for non-members for 30 minutes,
$60 for members and $65 for non-members for 60 minutes and $90 for members
and $100 for non-members for 90 minutes. Also available are 15 minute
massages. The Hunterdon Health and Wellness Center is offering 10% off any
