Can You Catch Lice In the Pool?
Lice hold onto your hair for dear life while holding there breath and go into suspended animation while your in the pool, shower, lake or if its raining.
Some camps require that all children wear bathing caps when campers are at the pool. This may be some sort of help, but not completely guaranteed. The best precaution for lice transmission is to make sure towels and personal items are not piled on top of each other & direct head contact does not occur.
If you know head lice is going around in your child's camp, do regular lice checks. You don't want to get stuck having lice at the beginning of the new school year.
