Black Bear Sightings in Fairfield

Several black bear sightings have been reported in Fairfield on Thursday.

Patch reader Amy Seitel reports she saw a bear come from a woodsy area near the ramp to I-95 South, before it crossed over Stephens Lane into a yard on Sunnyridge Ave then through the side yard on the corner of Sunnyridge and Stephens.

Seitel called 911 and police arrived and she last saw the bear go into a backya
