Talk the talk: skiing and snowboarding terms of the week

Before you mingle at the lodge or ride the lift with that gorgeous snowboarder you just met, you need to know some basic vocab. Here are a couple of terms to keep in your arsenal:

Arc 'em or park em: Arc em means to make ski or snowboarding turns. Park em means to give-up, go home, call it a day and put up your boards in the ski rack.

Blower skiing: Outstanding, epic, skiing and or snowboarding conditions, both during and after a major snow event. Blower skiing and riding is specific to powder snowconditions, but the term is sometimes used in a general sense to describe an amazing ski or snowboarding experience.
