Authorities urge water conservation during drought
According to WFMZ-TV, "Several counties throughout Pennsylvania are now officially under a drought warning and dozens others under a watch according to the Department of Environmental Protection.
The declaration was made Thursday and now the agency is asking
people to cut back on their water usage.
Lehigh, Northampton, Monroe, and Carbon counties are under a
warning, the agency said. Citizens in those counties are
encouraged to reduce their water usage by 10 - 15 percent."
