Gloria AnzaldĂșa was a talented writer, poet, and scholar who faced many challenges throughout her life, including racism, sexism, racism, and homophobia for many many years. She addressed these critical topics with her work.

She first rose to fame in Havana before gaining popularity in Mexico and then coming to America to take our breath away. Although she has passed away, she continues to inspire today's Afro-Latinx icons.
