Creative Ways to Keep Memories of Your Loved Ones

One of the things that makes life difficult is losing loved ones. The pain of losing a loved one is something that doesn't go away. However, you can ease this pain by keeping the memories of your loved one alive. You can do the following to remember your loved ones.

Cook Your Loved One's Favorite Dishes

Many people find that a certain smell triggers memories of their loved ones. That is why you can bring back happy memories by cooking your loved ones favorite dishes. The smell and taste of the favorite dishes will bring back happy memories.

Write a Letter

One of the things that frustrates people about death is the fact that they never got to say everything that they wanted to say to their loved ones. You will not get another opportunity to talk to your loved ones, but you can write them a letter. The letter allows you to express yourself and get things off of your chest. If you do not want to write, then you can record a video.

You don't have to post or show the video to anyone. You may even opt to delete the video as soon as you have finished recording it. However, this can still be a cathartic experience for you.

Keep Pictures of Them

Pictures are one of the best ways to preserve memories. You can put a big picture of your loved one in their home. You can also carry a picture with them in your wallet. Additionally, you can get a painting of your loved one. Talk to someone if you are interested in commission photo to painting.

Have A Dinner for Them

You can also have a dinner in their honor. Invite all your family members and friends.
