Cannabinoids, found in cannabis, naturally balance the body, reduce inflammation, reduce pain, improve sleep and more. Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), too, is beneficial to the body. It's only natural to want to seek a purer form of marijuana to experience cannabinoids and THC in concentrated levels. Marijuana concentrates provide concentrated levels of both of these compounds, and there are several concentrates to choose from.
Shatter
The purest of concentrates is referred to as "shatter" because of its clear, glass-like appearance and its likelihood to shatter into small pieces. Shatter is a form of butane hash oil (BHO). At times, shatter can be somewhat sticky.
Crumbles
Crumble is similar to shatter. While the BHO is whipped or vacuumed, it turns into a substance that easily crumbles.
Wax
Wax is a yellow and brown substance. It is smoked in a vaporizer or a water pipe and is very sticky. A dab tool is needed to handle it.
Oil
Cannabis oil can be made with butane or CO2. Both CO2 and butane separate cannabinoids and terpenes from the Cannabis sativa plant. Oil that is made with CO2 is less viscous and creates a different taste.
Water Hash
Water hash can come in the form of solventless wax, bubble hash, ice wax and other forms, depending upon the way it's made. Basically, all forms of water hash are made when water or ice is combined with marijuana to break off the trichomes from the plant.
Rosin
Rosin can be made from dried marijuana trim, buds or water hash. Rosin can be made fairly simply. It can even be made with parchment paper, slight pressure and a hair straightener. The end result can resemble shatter or water hash.
Find the Right Concentrate for You
The concentrate you use is a matter of preference. Try Upside Down Pineapple Cake, OG Kush, Purextracts or something else that tickles your fancy to discover the right concentrate for you. You can try cannabis oil, which is another popular favorite among many.
