Best Group Activities for Women Over 40

You could immerse yourself in any type of activity, but you should look for a few things in your activities: something that gets you active, something that challenges you, something you have been wanting to do but never did, or something you can do while socializing with others. Let's take a look at a few activities you might enjoy.

Hiking

If you're a bit of an explorer, hiking could prove to be a good activity for you. You can choose a different destination to go to every week. Make sure to get the right kind of shoes that will prevent slipping, and make sure you get the right gear. You can get a tent or an SUV tent that attaches to your SUV and other gear that will make for a safe and comfortable, yet exciting, trip. Be sure to take a lot of pictures.

Gardening

Gardening is deeply satisfying. You get dirty and commit to lots of work; however, if you enjoy the beauty and the best-tasting fruit and vegetables, gardening is rewarding. If you plan on planting flowers, trees, bushes, or vines, be sure to plan out the layout of your garden ahead of time. If you're going to do fruit and vegetables, you should have a plan as well in regards to spacing and which plants you want next to each other.

Dancing

Dancing is a fun way to get exercise. You can take classes with others, or learn at your own pace at home. Learn a form of dance you are not familiar with to expand your horizons or learn a form of dance you've always wanted to do. You can enter dance competitions or meet others while taking a class.

Meetups for Women Over 40

You can make meeting up your new hobby. Revel has several meetups for women over 40. Go on a walk, meet at a restaurant, or engage in another activity. Visit Revel to take a look at their many virtual and in-person events. You'll have so much fun.
