How to Rebuild the Bracelet on Your Audemars Piguet Watch

Additional supplies include a soft cloth to prevent scratches and a small dish for keeping those intricate parts in one place. You may also need a push pin tool or uncurled paperclip.

Remove the Existing Band

Using the screwdriver, remove the original screws on the watch. The screws are on both sides of the bracelet base. Once you take the screws out and place them in your dish, use the pin tool to push the lug out.

Repeat this process on the opposite side to completely remove the bracelet.

Rebuilding a New Bracelet

Make sure to place the correct ends on the case. Do a dry fit to position the bracelet correctly.

Finally, you can reinsert the screws. Tighten them gently until they're flush. However, avoid overtightening. Doing so could strip the screws.
