The Center for Vision Loss is the region's only community benefit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with vision loss and promoting healthy vision in the community. Programs and services are provided in the following areas:
- Vision Rehabiitation-services and programs which empower people with vision loss to reach their highest level of independence.
- Low Vision Services-Low Vision Clinic directed by Low Vision Specialist Dr. Anthony Silvetti provides low vision exams and an introduction to magnification devices
- Community Outreach-free vision screenings for children and adults and educational presentations about eye health and eye safety.
- Vision Help Program-providing free eyeglasses and eye exams to people who are uninsured and financially quaified; the agency operates an Eye Care Clinic for uninsured individuals in the Monroe County office.
The Center for Vision Loss serves Lehigh, Northampton and Monroe Counties in eastern Pennsylvania.
